If you've been linked to this site, or even this page, you're probably wondering what the f*** is a Pentafrag?. By the end of this page, you'll be able to reach your inner zen and Pentafrag someone's brains out or something, I don't know. About Pentafrag Pentafrag is an online discussion forum and community born from an age long since past (circa 2006). Before the age of social media websites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, there were discussion forums that would normally run adjacent to a news blog or as standalone sites. For many, discussion forums disappeared with the introduction of Facebook and Discord. Pentafrag is a forum born in the new age community by veterans of the old. But why start a forum? Basically, to remove the musky taint from online social interaction and create an environment where users can log in, read or reply at their own pace, and log off again to visit another time. No longer do you need to be omnipresent on social media. It's okay, you can put your ethernet cable down now. Where did the name Pentafrag come from? Inspired by the announcer voice in League of Legends and Quake, the name Pentafrag was something cool to yell out in a deep, reverberated voice in response to kill streak in a game. But it's a domain name I've owned for my gaming clan for a while, and figured it'd make for a memorable forum name.
